Thank you for your interest in our organization!
We are dedicated to providing culturally-sensitive and culturally-enriching programs to individuals and families and welcome talented, passionate and committed volunteers and professionals who seek to create positive change, as they uplift and empower our communities.
Currently we have some job vacancies (listed below) and encourage you to apply if you are interested and are qualified for a position.
Volunteers are integral to the success of our organization. We would be unable to provide the services and supports our members and communities rely on without the valuable input of volunteers. Through volunteering, youth, adults and seniors have the opportunity to give back to their community and gain a sense of satisfaction in doing so. We also welcome high school students who will have the opportunity to gain their community service hours.
We have volunteer opportunities in the following areas:
- Tutors and mentors - Arts, Literacy & Tutoring Club after-school program
- Mentors - Black Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Business Mentorship program
- Bingo fundraising (must be at least 18 years old)
- Board committees
- Office administration
- Summer and Spring break camps
If you are interested in volunteering with us please email your resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org stating the position(s) in which you are interested.
Successful applicants will need to complete a criminal reference check or vulnerable sector check before placement begins.
